Orange Antivirus

Orange Antivirus powered by Bitdefender is a free mobile application that ensures your phone is protected against viruses and malicious apps, keeping you safe while browsing the web. Additionally, if you happen to lose your phone, you have the ability to locate it, lock it, or even erase data remotely. Moreover, you can set up an alarm to quickly find your lost device within your home.

The application can be downloaded, but it's only available to Orange subscribers. If you don't have an eligible plan, you can try it out for 30 days. Afterward, to continue enjoying its benefits, you need to activate the Orange Antivirus feature (€1/month, VAT included) or opt for a new plan with included access. The option fee will appear on your Orange bill.

To utilize the application, you must have an online Orange account; if you don't already have one, you can create it at www.orange.ro/contul-meu.

Additional Information:

• Web security function is accessible for both the phone's browser and Chrome
• The device wipe function requires permission to access private information
• If you have an Android 4.1 phone, you can uninstall the app only after manually deactivating the device administrator (Device Admin)

Uninstallation Instructions:

To uninstall the app, go to Settings > Security > Device administrators, uncheck Orange Antivirus from the list and then press disable. You can now uninstall the app. You will be prompted to enter your PIN; this is the numeric code used when activating the anti-theft feature.

This application requires Device Administrator permission for anti-theft functionality and uses Accessibility Services to provide online threat protection through web security by detecting malicious URLs during web browsing.
